I actually read a Readers Digest in the doctors office the other day and could only find information on submitting jokes, but maybe I'll get around to looking further into that one of these days. :)<br /><br />I just bought a scanner and once it's set up I'll post some pictures of Korea to go with my story.Carrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15950716705553898889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30131485.post-66114094017861320882006-12-16T00:26:00.000-06:002006-12-16T00:26:00.000-06:00i'd say that's some awsome advice... and a great i...i'd say that's some awsome advice... and a great idea regarding "Reader's Digest"<br /><br />~prestonsgirlAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30131485.post-50478908577264540992006-12-15T12:55:00.000-06:002006-12-15T12:55:00.000-06:00DITTO!DITTO!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30131485.post-60030671024406003702006-12-15T09:08:00.000-06:002006-12-15T09:08:00.000-06:00well done Carri, you should consider condensing yo...well done Carri, you should consider condensing your korea experience blog into a readers digest version and send it to readers digest as a Service mans/persons- family's view of Military life. This last installment should be kept totally intact (i think.) Timing is everything, and we are living in a time when a mag like readers digest (and there are others) might pick it up. Cost a few stamps and a self retun enverlope. Keep your pencil sharp and try to write often even if you erase it at the end of the day--kinda like that famous texas mandolin maker--- When he was asked if he ever made any bad one's he took the reporter to a closed door, pushed it open revealing a room full of trashed Mandolins. It was very instructive that ever the most expert artisans have a room full or perhaps a hard drive full of trash hidden away from sight.
